First, you need to define these add-ons within your software’s database so they can be displayed with the dishes for selection.

To do this, go to the side menu, then to “Items,” and click on “Item Add-ons.”

A new page will open showing the existing add-ons in the software, or you can add a new one by clicking “Add New.”

A table will appear where you can add this add-on by entering (Add-on Name – Price – Choose an image for the add-on) and then clicking “Save” or “Cancel” as desired.

You can also edit or delete a previous add-on as shown in the following image.

Next, let’s move on to the point of sale to see how the selection of these add-ons is done. However, dear customer, you should know that not all items will have the option to display these add-ons. This is based on your preference. If you wish to select specific add-ons, you will need to enable the add-ons feature for the dish when you first create it. This will allow you to choose which dishes will display these add-ons, as shown in the following image.

After ensuring that item add-ons are enabled for the desired meal or dish, you will need to proceed to the point of sale to select these add-ons along with the dishes. This can be done by navigating to the side menu, then selecting ‘Sales’ followed by ‘Point of Sale’.

Once the customer’s desired dishes have been selected, you will notice that add-ons have appeared for some items but not others, depending on the previous settings.

To select the add-ons, check the box in front of the desired add-on. Its price will be automatically added to the total bill, including any applicable taxes.

Then we follow the same previous steps of specifying the payment method and the type of order (cash – lounge – home delivery) and complete the steps as explained previously, and then the specialists preparing the meals or the restaurant will read the additions on the kitchen screen and will add them to the meal.
